He is the Financial sector leader for the firm, with a special focus and expertise in Insurance, Banking and Mutual funds.
His clients range from the State Bank, Board of Investment and the Securities and Exchange Commission; to medium to large privately held and listed multinational companies across numerous service lines, including Financial Institutions, Insurance, Asset Management, Leasing, Textiles, Maritime, Pharmaceutical, Distribution, Manufacturing and Aviation.
He has extensive experience with IFRS conversions and Financial Due Diligence.
Saleem is also part of the firm’s Quality Control Board and is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the level of quality within the firm, ensuring clients receive exceptional quality services.
Saleem is an active Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and has participated in a number of their working committees including the Insurance Committee, Auditing Standards Committee and Technical Advisory Committee.
He is member of the Working Group of Auditors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which deals with local regulator and technical matters in relation to the Insurance sector, and he has also contributed in the development of model financial statements for the Insurance sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
